Police want to hear from anyone who saw someone shooting an air rifle at a car in Bovey Tracey earlier this week.
The black BMW was damaged by pellets some time between 10am on Christmas Eve and 2pm on Christmas Day, while in a car park off Station Road.
The incident's being treated as criminal damage.
