Incident at pedestrian crossing
A child has been seriously injured in a collision in Paignton.
They were taken to hospital, accompanied by their family, after being involved in an incident with a van at a pedestrian crossing on Hyde Road in the town on Good Friday.
The road was subsequently closed for several hours for investigations to take place.
Police are asking for witnesses to the collision at around 10.50 a.m. to call them on 101 quoting log 323 of 15 April.
