Exeter has featured highly at a top arts awards ceremony in London.
Two city-council funded arts organisations were awarded major prizes at the Clore Prize fund - held at the Natural History Museum.
Exeter's Bike Shed Theatre won £50,000 to support their residency programme.
Dorset-based 'Extraordinary Bodies' also benefited. They performed their show 'Weighting' last year on Cathedral green to an audience of 4,000. They've been awarded £100,000
