Exeter City under-16 player Sean Goss has joined Manchester United for an initial fee thought to be around £100,000.
The 16-year-old joined City's youth ranks when he was eight, scoring 13 times from centre midfield this season.
He impressed the Premier League side at trials in Holland earlier this year.
Speaking to the club's website, Goss said that United's training facility "is like another world", adding, "I just have to continue working hard and my aim now is to just push higher and higher through the ranks".
