Council tax to rise in Devon after Police and Crime Panel approve budget plans

It would see a Band D property having to pay 12 pounds a year more.

Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez had put forward her budget plans for 2018/19.

The money raised will go towards increasing the number of officers to 3015 by 2020 as well as investing in new technology and rolling out the use of body worn cameras for officers.
