Devon county council is being asked to prohibit badger culling on any of the land it owns. .
A motion's being put to the full council today by the Exeter labour councillor Jill Owen.
She argues that the pilot cull in Somerset and Gloucestershire has been more difficult and costly than the Government predicted, and has failed to kill the target number of badgers to prevent the spread of bovine TB
