Exeter could soon have its own residential centre for dementia sufferers.... and more supported housing for elderly people .... under plans by the county council to adapt care services to changing needs.
A report going before councillors this morning says there's increasing demand for specialist residential care, but at the same time many older people want to live as independently as possible.
The council says eligibility for residential care won't change but there'll be more supported housing as well.
