New data shows children as young as four have been caught carrying weapons in schools across England and Wales.
The PA news agency found officers seized knives, knuckle dusters, and even a stun gun.
Devon and Cornwall Police revealed say a 14-year-old was handed a youth caution for bringing a sword into school, while pupils of the same age were also found to have been carrying a BB gun and a corkscrew.
