Devon and Cornwall Police has been rated as requiring improvement when it comes to how efficient it is at reducing crime and keeping us safe.
Devon and Cornwall police was one of just eight forces who were told they needed to make improvements by the policing watchdog, HMIC.
That means that it has been downgraded, in last year's report they were rated as 'good.'
Deputy Chief Constable Bill Skelly says they are working hard with the Police and Crime Commissioner to put new plans in place.
