Youngest to win
Seven-year-old Jack Darke from Kingsbridge has been honoured at this year's Young British Farmers Awards.
Jack received the Young Handler's Award at a ceremony in Yorkshire on Saturday 13 September.
He was the youngest winner at this year's event, which celebrates the next generation of farmers and agricultural leaders.
Judges praised Jack's competence with both sheep and cattle, noting his success in the show ring and showing rams at auctions to a high standard.
The young star also won a similar award at the Royal Cornwall Show over the summer.
Jack said he was 'really proud' of his achievement and to be crowned the best in his field.
