Police along the complete length of the M 5 Motorway have launched a crackdown on drivers and caught almost 300 breaking the law.
Operation Unity covered the whole stretch from Junction 31 near Exeter to Junction 1 in the West Midlands.
Twenty two people in Devon were arrested for speeding, fifteen for using their mobile phone while driving and twenty one for seat belt offences during the two day operation.
