Devon has one of the highest rates of call outs to the RSPCA for dogs left in a hot car.
Despite campaigns every year to warn people of the dangers of leaving pets in their vehicles, there were 322 reported incidents in Devon - the fifth highest in the country.
That number is down on 2014, when there was 414 incident, but higher than in 2013 which had a total of 288.
