Middle-of-the-night bank holiday attack on man was unprovoked
Almost two months on from an early morning attack on a man in Exmouth, police are asking again for witnesses.
A man in his twenties was beaten up at half past three inthe morning outside the TSB bank in the Strand in the town centre.
Two men who aren't known to the victim punched and pushed him to the ground, then kicked him in the head.
Investigating officer Suzie Quinton said: “This was an unprovoked attack which left the victim requiring surgery for injuries to his hand.
Lots of people were in the area at the time - overnight Sunday into Monday of the first May bank holiday.
