Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a woman was found in Dawlish.
The 36 year old was found dead at a property in Iddesleigh Terrace in the early hours of this morning.
It followed reports of a missing person and an extensive search by specialist officers and volunteers.
A 36 year old man, who's local and known to the victim, has been arrested.
Scenes of crime officers are currently at the property and the Major Incident Team are investigating.
