Roads in part of Exeter city centre remain closed this morning after yesterday's fire in Sidwell Street - and are not expected to reopen for several hours.
The fire broke out in the basement of the Richer Sounds shop and developed into a major incident with 15 fire crews at the scene, the surrounding roads closed and nearby buildings evacuated.
The fire spread upwards through the building to the residential flats above the shop.
The damage is being assessed today and the building made safe.
