Do you know these women?

Moments after these images were taken, a man suffered fatal injuries

They could help investigations into death of a man

Police need the help of these four young women who could hold clues into the death of a man in Exeter city centre last month.

They want the public to identify the women - or for them to call them if they recognise themselves from the pictures. They're on the Radio Exe website.

A 40-year-old man died in hospital nine days after being assaulted outside the Tesco Metro store on Exeter High Street on the last Saturday of June.

31 year-old Guy Pottle from Beacon Heath's in custody awaiting trial. He's due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on Thursday 2 August facing charges relating to the death.

Detective Sergeant Sam Wenham says: "All four women were walking past the Tesco Metro store in Exeter; moments later an assault took place which had tragic consequences. It is vital we speak to these women as they may have seen or heard something that could be vital to our investigation."

Please call 101 and quote log number 482 for 25 July. Calls cost 15 pence.
