Motorcyclist has life-changing injuries
A driver involved in a collision with a motorcyclist on Tuesday evening has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
The crash, at traffic lights in Exmouth, around 8.40 p.m. led to to an area around Salterton Road and Dinan Way being closed for more than six hours.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a silver Ford Transit panel van and a green motorcycle, in which the biker motorcycle suffered life changing injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
As well as being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, a 26-year-old man from the Exmouth area faced questioning of causing serious injury by driving without due care.
