Following the implementation of a dispersal order, Police in Tiverton have seen a fall in town centre anti-social behaviour.
The order covers an area from Heathcoat Way to West Exe South, Newport Street and Cowley Moor Road after complaints from residents.
Groups of two or more people in the area can be moved on by officers or risk arrest. Should they return to the same place within 24 hours, they can be arrested and prosecuted.
The figure of anti-social behaviour reports has dropped by 37.7% according to Police figures.
