The business forum which was chaired by the former East Devon councillor Graham Brown has decided not to disband.
Mr Brown resigned as a councillor and as chairman of the East Devon Business Forum earlier this month over allegations relating to his other role as a planning consultant.
He was secretly filmed by undercover reporters apparently claiming he could influence the planning process - although he maintains that he's done nothing wrong.
Other members of the forum have agreed to keep it going - but they'll have an amended constitution which is likely to stipulate that the chairman will not be a serving councillor.
