An event in Exeter this evening is hoping to demonstrate to Europe that the city is inclusive and open to all.
Exeter Stays, which will take place at Bedford Square this evening, has been organised to give people the chance to talk about their feelings and how to move forward following the referendum.
Exeter was one of only two areas to vote remain in the South West.
Emma Cayley is one of the event organisers and she says as head of modern languages at Exeter University she comes into contact with many European staff and students who are feeling very worried about the future.
