City council planners have agreed this week for the depot to be built on land at the Matford Park and Ride.
It will take up part of a car park used by the market which attracts around five-thousand buyers a week.
The car boot sales will still take place there, but the number of sellers allowed in may sometimes be reduced, and there'll also be fewer parking spaces for buyers.
