Lee Martin scored three goals in September
Exeter City midfielder Lee Martin has been nominated for the League Two player of the month (September).
The midfielder has played an instrumental role in helping City consolidate their spot in the top three. Martin, who's been playing in a more advance role this season, scored three times in September and bagged an assist in a 2-0 win against Port Vale.
The number 7 found the back of the net against Carlisle, Port Vale and Newport.
Three other players from League Two are up for the prestigious award: Walsall's James Clarke, Crewe's Tommy Lowery and Bradford's Paudie O'Conner.
