Exeter family's tribute to biker son

"Hearts broken into millions of pieces"

Tributes have been paid to a 22-year-old motorcyclist who died in a collision with a car on the A377 at Hookway Cross near Crediton.

Sadly, Daniel Adametz, from Exeter, was pronounced deceased at the scene on the evening of Thursday 7 May.

Daniel’s family has paid the following tribute to him: “Our hearts are broken into millions of pieces. Our little brother and son left us too quickly. Daniel, we all miss you so much and we wish we could hug you again and hold your hand.

“We all wished it was just a bad dream. Heaven has gained an angel.

“Danielek, on 20 May you were about to celebrate your 23rd birthday and you were very happy to move into a new home this year, the house you saved a lot for carefully.

“You enjoyed sport, especially loved playing football. Your heart was made of gold, always so caring, friendly and willing to help, our angel. Your whole life was ahead of you. Our son and brother, we will always miss you and will always love you with all our hearts. Rest in peace.”

A 27-year-old man from Exeter has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released under police investigation while enquiries continue. Officers are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward. Call police on 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting log number 693 of 07/04/2
