The council says a number of items are in need of repair
The play area at Exeter’s King George V playing fields is to remain closed until repair works can be completed.
A major clean-up of the area was carried out by council staff after travellers occupied the site at the start of the month.
However, Exeter City Council says on inspection a number of items at the play area are in need of repair, including a damaged gate at the entrance.
It’s hoped the work can be completed this week.
