Exeter shop attacked twice

Suspect sought for aggravated burglary

Police are currently investigating two incidents of aggravated burglary at the same Exeter convenience shop two months apart.

The first incident at the Dawn ‘til Dark Premier Store, on Princes Street East, at around 9 p.m. on Monday 10 April. A man in a grey hoody, black trousers concealed his face and demanded money from the till.

He went back to demand money on Saturday 3 June at around 9.45 p.m. also in a grey hoody with a small black logo and black trousers. On both occasions, he had a small knife and left with cash from the till.

He is thought to be around 5ft 11ins tall and slim.

Police have carried out house-to-house enquiries and have trawled CCTV and it is believed that the suspect was seen walking down Queens Road towards Pinces Gardens around the time of both incidents.

He could be local to the area and police are asking anyone who may live with somebody who matches the description of the suspect to get in touch, no matter how small they deem their information to be.

If you have information that could help police with their enquiries, please contact call police on 101.
