Max Hamilton, 19, died after an accident 3 weeks ago.
More than £8,000 has been raised in memory of a teenager from Totnes who died after a skateboarding accident.
On the justgiving page, he is described as "a truly beautiful, courageous young man".
On Friday 26th of July he had a fatal skateboarding accident and died in hospital the next day of extreme brain and head injuries. But he has saved the life of others, after donating 6 of his organs.
The fundraising page says: "As a legacy to Max, we're hoping to raise money to buy a pre-made grinding ledge and have it installed at Totnes Skatepark. Any additional funds raised will go towards research and development of skateboard head safety gear. This will be designed by skaters to encourage people to wear protection whilst skateboarding."
