Kitchen blaze at White Hart is quickly put out
Six weeks after the Royal Clarence was destroyed in Cathedral Close, another hotel in the city centre has suffered a blaze.
Three fire engines rushed to the White Hart Hotel in South Street at around 10.20pm on Saturday night.
Fortunately, this emergency turned out to be much less severe than the Royal Clarence blaze in October.
Three fire crews quickly put out a small blaze in the kitchen. The cause was accidental.
