Former Exeter City manager Peter Fox is to face historic charges of abuse at the High Court.
Mr Fox - who was in charge at City between 1995 and 2000 - is being sued by a former apprentice at Stoke City where he was goalkeeper during the 80s.
He's denied the charge.
A judge has decided that a full trial should go ahead, but not until next January.
