Alleged to have happened in police cells
A former criminal defence solicitor from Plymouth has denied sexually abusing and raping clients.
Alan Harris, who's 72, of Thorn Park in the city, is on trial at Winchester Crown Court, facing 18 charges of indecent assault, eight charges of sexual assault, three of rape and one for another serious sexual offence.
It's alleged to have happened in cells at Charles Cross Police Station and Plymouth Magistrates' Court between 1989 and 2015, something which he denies.
The jury heard how the law firm he managed would speak to an arrested or charged person at a police station or court whenever needed.
The trial continues.
