Funding windfall for Queen's Terrace Garden scheme

Exeter residents working to transform a run-down patch of land into a community garden have received an 18 thousand pound boost.

The St James Community Trust say the money will enable them to make a proper start to their improvements to Queens Crescent Garden.

The project has attracted 13 thousand pounds from the Government's Pocket Parks scheme - and local councillor Jill Owen has obtained another five thousand from her Locality Budget, allocated by the county council.
