Two important transport schemes in Exeter have been allocated funding.
The plan to widen Bridge Road at Countess Wear, and the two new railway stations at Marsh Barton and Edginswell, are both being awarded cash by the Local Transport Board, which distributes funding from the Government..
The projects that find favour are chosen because they'd support economic growth, alleviate traffic congestion and encourage more investment.
