Fire crews have been dealing with a major blaze at a thatched cottage near Copplestone..
The roof and first floor of the Grade Two property were found to be well alight on Saturday morning.
The fire caused disruption to roads and transport with the A3072 closed at Beers Hill.
Water was shuttled in from hydrants becaus of low water pressure in the immediate area.
No one has been hurt.
