Group therapy could be key to tackling obesity, according to research by an Exeter University psychologist.
Mark Tarrant has been studying ways to help obese people to lose weight and his findings have been shared with some of the country's leading experts.
He's spent two years observing a group of people who were receiving NHS weight management services, and says they benefited from a feeling of group identity which helped them keep to their eating plans.
