There was traffic chaos in Powderham last night after an accident in the village blocked the road as hundreds of fans were trying to leave a Little Mix concert at the castle.
Many vehicles were blocked into the car park on the southern side of the estate for two hours - still there at midnight after the concert finished at 10pm.
There were angry scenes outside as drivers tried to change lanes to avoid the queues.
A steward was sent around to explain that an accident was causing unforeseen delays and that police were dealing with it.
