It was in a carrier bag
Investigations are underway after a human skull was found in a carrier bag next to a statue in a Devon town.
Police were called to the Man and Boy statue at Kings Quay, in Brixham on Thursday afternoon where they found a plastic bag.
It was seized by officers and following examinations, the bone was confirmed as a human skull.
There is reports the skull was located by fisherman at sea and brought to shore and placed next to the statue.
Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
