Ilfracombe woman punched in face

Two men sought over attack

An Ilfracombe woman has been punched in the face in an attack involving two unidentified males.

The 58-year-old was hit several times as well as being verbally abused, and her dog was kicked too, in the assault around 10.25am on Monday 19 April, in Wilder Road in the town.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the serious assault and are looking for two men. One is white, aged 35 to40, around 5ft 8ins tall, with short dark hair and a long scar on his right cheek. He had a white and beige dog with him.

The other man is thought to be in his 50s, taller and of slim build, with well-groomed grey hair.
