Tobacco and Cigarettes were being sold in the city to avoid duty tax
Police in Exeter have this week seized illegal tobacco and cigarettes being sold in the city centre under the counter - to avoid duty tax.
They say the estimated total tax avoided by the individuals involved is 8-hundred thousand pounds.
Officers added the trade in illegal tobacco is not victimless - as it takes money away from public services and undermines legitimate traders.
