Images released of four people who could help rape investigation

It happened in Exeter City Centre and behind Topsham Fire Station

Police are trying to track down four people who might be able to help them with the investigation of a reported rape in Exeter.

The incident happened in Musgrave Row in the city centre and at the car park behind Topsham Fire Station between 2am and 5am on Monday 17 October.

Images of the four people officers would like to speak to have been released. It's possible that these four people came into contact with the victim earlier in the night at The Vaults nightclub.

DI Tanya Youngs said: “We would like to stress that these four people we wish to identify are not suspected of any wrongdoing.

“We believe they interacted with the victim whilst in the nightclub."

Three men were arrested on suspicion of rape. A 32-year-old from Torquay was released on police bail until 13 January, 2023. A 26-year-old from Exeter and a 22-year-old from Topsham were released under investigation.
