Two star cyclists from Exeter are launching a new initiative today - to create competitive cycling teams but also to support the sport at grass-roots level.
International champion paracyclist Tom Staniford and his wife Alice, who holds several regional titles, particularly want to get women and people with disabilities involved.
They plan to set up an amateur team to compete at high levels, offering them professional equipment and training, but also to get involved with community cycling projects and promote the benefits of the sport.
They're already in talks with some large sponsors and hope to attract more following this morning's launch at Sandy Park.
