David Crawford, 59, killed on A38
A Plymouth man has been charged with murder following an incident on the A38 near the Devon/Cornwall border on Thursday evening.
David Crawford, 59, from Ivybridge was found in the road near a Kawasaki motorcycle on the eastbound on-slip at St Budeaux.
He died at the scene.
Police found a white Ford transit van that we believe they thought was connected to the matter in the Marlborough Street area of Devonport.
A man in his forties was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop, driving under the influence of drink or drugs, and death by dangerous driving.
Now Benjamin Parry, 42 from Davenport, Plymouth, has been charged with murder.
He has been held in remand and is due before Plymouth Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.
