Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road accident near Exeter.
The two car crash happened on the old A 30 between Whitestone and Pocombe Bridge.
A fifty three year old man, from Exeter, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A sixty nine year old man and a sixty six year old woman were taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, but later discharged...However a ninety two year old woman remains there with serious injuries.
The road was closed for eight hours after the collision, which happened at 12.40 yesterday.
