His car burst into flames
A man in his 40s has died following a collision in Paignton.
Emergency services were called at 1:36am on Sunday 8 October to a two vehicle collision on Dartmouth Road.
The incident involved a parked and unattended VW van and a Hyundai i20. As a result, the car burst into flames and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time to get in touch via 101.
