Exmouth's inshore lifeboat attends
A man who had fallen on rocks along the East Devon coast has been rescued by Exmouth's inshore lifeboat.
Emergency services were called around 3.30 p.m. on Thursday, the first day of the jubilee bank holiday, to reports of someone who had suspected spinal injuries after falling at Sandy Bay.
Exmouth RNLI volunteers attended reports of a man injured at Sandy Bay this afternoon.
The crew sped the mile or two from the lifeboat station to the area, quickly located the casualty and gave first aid until an ambulance arrived.
The RNLI team was led by inshore lifeboat helm Guy Munnings and crew Ed Thomas and Charles Swales, assisted by Rob Vince, Neil Cannon, Robert Thompson, Nick Wright and Rory Carrig.
