Sidmouth man arrested for assault and affray
A man has been left with serious injuries after another man bit the top of his ear off in Newton Abbot.
The incident happened at around 3am outside Bar 7 on Market Street on Saturday 29 April. The two men weren't known to each other.
Following an altercation, one of the men bit the other man's ear off resulting in it becoming detached. The victim is in his 20s.
A 25-year-old man from Sidmouth was arrested on suspicion of assault and affray and has been bailed until 18 July.
