34-year-old arrested for child abduction and kidnap
A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing from Newton Abbot has been located.
Leona Peach was reported missing on the morning of Monday 20 December and was thought to have travelled to North Devon to be with her father.
With help from Lincolnshire Police and support from Devon Child Services and Lincolnshire Child Services, officers searched a property near Boston on Thursday afternoon.
During the search, a 34-year-old man who's originally from Devon was arrested on suspicion of child abduction and kidnap. He's due to be transferred to Devon in due course for questioning.
