Traffic chaos likely as South Western Railway, which runs between Exeter and London Waterloo, announce more strikes
The RMT Union objects to plans to axe guards. They've been talking to the company, but say there's no goodwill on the other side. They claim they have no option but to strike again, so they'll be walking out in two weeks time for three days.
The strikes behind on June 21st 2018.
A South Western Railway spokesperson said: “We are very disappointed that the RMT has called for more strike action as we were engaged in positive dialogue with them in an effort to resolve this dispute, had offered further talks and were awaiting their response.
“We will do everything we can to minimise disruption to our passengers during this period of industrial action.”
