The MP for Exeter has described an anonymous campaign against a Muslim community centre as inflammatory and disgusting.
A sticker featuring the words 'jihad zone' was placed on the building in Buller Road which is the subject of a change of use planning application, to house the Shia Muslim meeting-place.
And a leaflet has been circulated criticising the plan and using the Help for Heroes logo without the charity's permission.
The sticker is being treated as a 'hate crime'
