A man has been charged with murder, following the death of a man in Plymouth.
Emergency services were called at approximately 8.20pm on Monday 4 May to reports of a man with serious injuries at a property on Embankment Road, in the city.
28-year-old Harry Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the best efforts of paramedics.
Mark Carpenter, who is 57, of Embankment Road, Plymouth, has been charged with the murder and is due to appear at Plymouth Magistrates' Court today [Friday 8 May].
Detective Inspector Jo Rotchell from the Major Crime Investigation Team said: “This is a tragic incident in which a person has lost their life. Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Harry at this incredibly difficult time. We will continue to support those affected.”
