Exeter's new IKEA store could bring new transport links between the site on the outskirts of the city, and the city centre.
The huge store is being built near Sandy Park in a location easily accessible from the motorway, but a few miles out of town.
However the Exeter Chamber of Commerce has asked the Swedish company to help pay for extra bus services, to be used by visiting shoppers.
