Body still not identified
A man arrested in connection with a fatal property fire in Bideford last month will face no further police action.
Four weeks on from the blaze, the body has still not been identified.
The blaze took place in Honestone Street in the evening of Tuesday 28 October and caused such structural damage that a full search was not possible for several days, at which point the body was found.
Six people were arrested; a man in his thirties and five children. All were questioned on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and later released on police bail.
Now police say that following an extensive investigation, he will face no further action.
Four boys and a girl aged between 13 and 15, all from North Devon, remain on police bail.
